Join us at the church to ride in the church van or carpool together….

We’re meeting at the church at 9:15, the bus leaves for the Vermillion River Reservation at 9:30 a.m. and returns between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. The festival features local culinary  students competing for the title of best ice carving.  Enjoy horse-drawn sleigh rides, crafts, videos, and refreshments including chili (fee for refreshments).  Children need to be accompanied by an adult.              Remember to dress for the weather. 	The Membership Team will be collecting the following “gentle worn” and CLEAN items for WEST BLVD. CHRISTIAN CHURCH, during the month of January.  They are in an area of Cleveland that can use our help.    Let’s share our used or outgrown with other MEN, WOMEN and CHILDREN: 
		
	HATS, GLOVES, MITTENS, WINTER SCARVES, BLANKETS,			SHEETS, PILLOWCASES, WINTER COATS, SNOW PANTS,                                 			SOCKS, BOOTS

	If you have something to donate and it’s not listed, please see LINDA ICKES or LONDA BLAINE to see if  it’s needed.  DO NOT  just drop it off at the church.  Thanks.  Leave the listed items in the EAST ENTRANCE  or in the marked box in the fellowship hall.
Text Box: 2007 Yearbook Reports Due this month…
	If you were a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, or President of a group at NECC this past year, IT’S TIME FOR YOUR YEAR END REPORT.  If you are not sure what is required, call the church office or look at a past church yearbook at the reports.  There are some in the office on the counter to look at.
Text Box: 	      FAMILY Swim Night

The Christian Education Committee is planning an all church Swim Night at the Strongsville Recreation Center, on Wednesday, March 26.  The kiddie pool is 0 entry- like walking in off the beach- with a Pirate Ship water play area including three slides and a tunnel.  There is also a separate large slide for older kids and a water basketball area.  The cost will be $5 plus anything you want to spend in the vending machines.


		Easter Egg Hunt

The Christian Education Committee will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 16 at 2 PM.  More information will be coming in the next few months.  We will be asking for donations of wrapped candy and prizes as we get closer to the date.

Text Box: Welcome NEW MEMBERS ….

Tim Tripphahn (10-7-07) and Lorraine Cragin (11-4-07) have been faithful worshippers for years  at our 8:00 a.m. worship service.  They have come forward to make their confession of faith and we are pleased to welcome them into our church family.

Ronda Peters was a member of our church until she moved to Cleveland.  She is now living in Lorain and is back with us at the 9:30 service.   Welcome back Ronda!  Our thanks to Holly Hill  for providing her transportation to be with us.

Kaylajoy Schupp started coming to church with the Klein’s.  She is a friend of Joe’s and decided she wanted to be a part of our church family.  We were pleased to have her come forward on Dec. 2, 2007.  She lives in North Ridgeville.
Text Box: Our sympathy is extended to Renate Maurer on the sudden death of her father.  Our prayers are with Renate and her family during this very                  difficult time.  May they find comfort in knowing we care.
