Text Box: 2008 Offering Envelopes and FINANCIAL INFORMATION…..
Your 2008 offering envelopes are ready for pick up at the church in the fellowship hall. START using them the first Sunday in January. If you did not receive offering envelopes and would like them, please contact Laura Kuhn at 440-327-5219. (I updated the list this year and I may have missed someone.)

REMINDER: Even if you don’t like to use the envelopes, please take them so you know YOUR NUMBER and record it on your check or envelope that you are using. DO NOT USE your 2007 envelopes anymore. New numbers are issued each year.
Also, if you use the pew envelopes and have the same last name as some one else please put your first and last name. The Counters and Recorders appreciate all the help you can give them to keep things in order.

Financial Secretary Report——Laura Kuhn
The following is the financial numbers from our November Consecration Sunday. As you can see, the numbers have increased and we were told that this is very excellent compared to other Disciple Churches.

We want to thank everyone for their “estimate of giving” and support. If you have not filled out and returned your card and would like to, it’s not to late, just call the Church office, 748-2230 and request an “Estimate of Giving” card. When you receive it, fill it out, place in an envelope, seal it and mark it ATTN: Laura Kuhn, Financial Secretary.

Consecration Sunday Results November 11, 2007
A total of 77 giving units (husbands & wives or single persons) completed Estimate of Giving Cards this year.
A total of 28 of these giving units increased their financial commitment above their last year’s amount
A total of 77 giving units present to fill our Estimate of Giving Cards today committed a total of $187,024.00

Based on last year’s giving records, we can expect to receive $46,195.57 during the coming year from people who have consistent giving patterns during the past twelve months but are not present today.
Based on the average total of loose offerings during the past three years, we can expect to receive $7,314.01 during the coming year from that source.

Church income from non-donor sources such as interest, rentals and fees $700.
This gives us a grand total of $241,233.58 anticipated income for the next twelve months.
The total income for our general operating budget during the last twelve months was $216,622.00.
Next year, we can expect our operating budget income to increase by $24,611.58.
This is a 11% increase in total giving above last year.
