Text Box: Dear Church Family,
On Sept 6, 2007, our lives changed in an instant. As many of you know, Jerry was involved in a motorcycle accident when a truck pulled out in front of him. He was on his way home from work….just 5 minutes from home.
He was life-flighted to Metro Hospital, where the doctors informed us that he had multiple injuries from his head to his feet. Just a few days after the accident we were told he might never wake up. Prayers of great intensity were said on his behalf in many churches and by many people. By the end of the second week he woke up and was taken off the respirator and started talking immediately!
This is now week six. He has finally begun intense therapy for both his physical and mental needs. Jerry has said that THIS CHURCH is such a blessing in our life. He loves and misses everyone and can’t wait until he can come back to church. I want to Thank You for all the many cards, phone calls, visits, food, cutting my grass, installing windows, rides to the hospital, monetary gifts and most of all your prayers.
A very special THANK YOU to Paul and Judy for all their visits, prayers and encouraging words. Our family couldn’t have coped with this tragedy without both of you. My prayer shawl has given me great comfort over the past many weeks. Please continue to keep all of us in your prayers. Jerry still has a long way to go. The Mullins Family
