Theresa has been coming to worship with her grandmother, Jan Brooks, since she was a baby. CHESTER & SANDY NOWAK came forward to join NECC on September 23, 2007. They were extended the invitation to worship with us by their good friend Barb Koerner. We are pleased to welcome them into part of our NECC family. Text Box: Dear God, Awhile ago I was driving down the road when a thought came to mind. As I mulled it over in my head, I thought, "This will make a great Voice article." Then I continued driving to my destination. I thought about the idea when I got home, re-writing it in my head. It was good! Today Londa told me the Voice articles are due by this Wednesday. Great, do you think I could remember the thought I had ? NO. I have gone over and over it in my head, trying to remember and I have no clue what it was. I thought these things happened to "old" people. I refuse to think of myself as old. Just the people around me are aging, not me. I’m going to blame my memory loss on the fact that I have too many things on my mind at one time. It has been extremely busy in the church and at home. Trying to keep everything straight is hard. That sounds like a plausible excuse doesn’t it? But the fact remains, I still can't remember the idea. It must not have been as great an idea as I thought it would be. Maybe I need a tape player in the seat of my car. But then I would have to turn it on while driving. How about paper and pen? But I would probably brake quickly and toss them to the floor. Maybe the thought will come back again. When it does, I will make an effort to jot it down or do something that will help me remember. If it doesn't, that's alright too.
