Text Box: Christian Women’s Fellowship
When a woman becomes a member of NECC she is automatically a member of the Christian Women’s fellowship. CWF prepares a budget each year based on the money raised that year. The money we raise from the bazaar in 2007 will be the budget for 2008. We give to Week of Compassion, World Outreach, General Fund and the Discretionary Fund. We have also used some of the money to buy new 8 ft. and round tables to be used in the fellowship hall for dinners and other functions. We are asking for your support and prayers for all the women of the church to prayerfully consider stepping forward to become an officer of CWF. We need a full slate in 2008. Many women have already served in these positions over the years and can be of great help in guiding the new officers. Some have had to resign because of health and life changing situations. If you are interested please call and ask questions:

On OCTOBER 17th we will have our annual SALAD BUFFET at 6:00 and all women of the church are invited to join us. Bring your favorite salad to share. We will have the installation of Circle Presidents and CWF OFFICERS. If we do not have officers, this will be a time for making the decision as to the future of CWF.

CWF CHRISTMAS BAZAAR …. We need new craft items for our CWF CRAFT TABLE (one item or many is appreciated) and people to work a shift that day. Call Laura Kuhn or the church office if you would like to help during the bazaar. Save your used items for our TRASH and TREASURE, all homemade baked goods for our BAKE SALE, small new gift items for the CHILDRENS ROOM, and come hungry and enjoy some homemade cabbage & noodles, soups, and sandwiches at our lunch counter.

DRAWING —– We have many great items in our “drawing.” Tickets are available after worship a few weeks before the bazaar and at the bazaar. If you can help us by selling tickets at IGA OR Sparkle Market a couple of hours, please contact LAURA KUHN.
