Text Box: Prayer Shawls….
Several months ago I asked for donations of yarn to make prayer shawls. I am overwhelmed by the generous outpouring of bags of yarn.
The knitters have been very busy making beautiful shawls. We have presented almost 50 prayers shawls to our NECC family and friends. They keep coming in for more yarn but I think when my office door is closed, they call their yarn friends to come in and do the yarn dance! It just keeps multiplying no matter how much we use. THANK YOU! Please feel free to take all that you want. Maybe I’ll see my floor again soon. This ministry has been a blessing to those who receive the shawls and to those who make them. The comfort and joy found in receiving the Prayer Shawl is a gift from God and this congregation.
If you know anyone who would like to receive one, please let me know. They have been given to new babies, as well as people experiencing joys and pain. I see people using them for comfort while in the hospital or sharing the blessing with a friend in need. No matter what the reason, the Prayer Shawl is a gift from NECC and love from those who care.
I pray this gift will continue well beyond North Eaton. Thank you all.
				Love and Joy,
				Judy

Dear Church Friends,
Thank you for all the lovely cards and best wishes. My thank you for the lovely lap robe that is so beautiful and so nice to wrap myself up in. The visits from both our ministers and the Elders who brought communion was appreciated. I miss you all and hope to get strong enough to attend church again. I am now back in my own apartment and love it. Love, Doris Goist
