Text Box: “Knowing Jesus”
9:00 A.M. BIBLE STUDY (Sunday)
New Study starts—–Sept. 16th

Knowing Jesus will be the topic of the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Morning bible Study that will begin on September 16th. Maureen Cromling and Chris Hensley will lead the class. This is a seven session program. The workbook will be provided without cost. The series is written by Serendipity House under their Foundation of the Faith Series. This Bible Study is developed to support and guide Christians in further developing their understanding and relationship with Jesus regardless of where they are at in their own personal faith journey. So whether you are just beginning your Bible Study or have been in Bible Study for a long time you will be welcomed and benefit from our time together in this study.

Our first meeting on Sept 16th at 9:00 a.m. will be an introduction to the series. We will meet in the classroom (North side) off the Fellowship Hall. Please contact Maureen Cromling (748-3786) or Chris Hensley (926-3269) if you have any questions regarding the class.

It may be a bit scary to walk into a Bible Study for the first time but I can tell you from personal experience that a small group study is one of the most enjoyable and uplifting Christian experiences that you will have. I hope you will join us.

Text Box: Veggie Tales Preview Enjoyed!!!
14 children and their parents met in the fellowship hall on August 7th to enjoy the new Veggie Tale movie “God Made You Special.” This was a great turn out and everyone had lots of fun. Before the movie, dinner was served and we munched on popcorn during the movie.
Thank you to Dick and Londa Blaine for providing the sloppy joes and potato salad. The event ended with door prizes for everyone. Thank you to Melissa Folk for putting the movie previews together. CHRISTIAN EDUCATION appreciates everyone who took part. If you weren’t able to make this one, make the next one a priority for “family fun.”
