Adult Bible Study: Thursday Evening- “D I V A”
Antonia Spector (926-3399) and Melissa Folk (458-8275) lead a Bible Study on THURSDAY EVENING at 7:00 p.m. at Antonia’s home, 36211 Dellwood, Grafton . We call ourselves DIVA’ s (Daughters Integrating Victorious Attitudes) and we are sending all women this invitation to join us. We are a relaxed group —– some cannot attend regularly and many are from different churches. We meet from 7:00-9:00, which includes an hour of Bible study and an hour of laid-back fellowship and activities. Currently we are studying the book of Proverbs. Stop by and see what we’re all about. Give one of the ladies a call if you have questions or need directions.

Text Box: Jr. Worship: Offering and Prayer
DID YOU KNOW??? There is a definite purpose behind the children’s offering and prayer during the 9:30 a.m. worship service. Members of Christian Education acknowledge several benefits to this practice: (1) the young children will have a chance to become acclimated to attending the adult service. (2) This presents the opportunity to teach them the importance of tithing. (3) it allows families without young children to see the children’s presence in church before being dismissed into Jr. Worship. (4) it allows some of the older youth to have the opportunity to stand in front of the congregation and offer a prayer to God on behalf of a group. Thank you to members who have given words of encouragement and support to our younger generation. They appreciate the recognition. Keep it up.
