We will be gathering TUESDAY EVENING, AUGUST 7TH, FROM 5:30—7:30 in the fellowship hall. A light supper will be served and there will be door prizes. This collection features four stories. In “Dave and the Giant Pickle,” a shepherd boy realizes that little guys can do big things too. In “The Gourds Must Be Crazy,” the Veggies learn to appreciate the differences in others. In “A Snoodle?s Tale,” a self-conscious Snoodle realizes the way God sees him is the only thing that matters, and Bob and all the Veggies learn how special they are in the all-new “Bob’s Vacation.” Questions can be directed to Melissa Folk. REMEMBER: “God Made You Special and He Loves You Very Much!” Text Box: Thank You! The CYF has safely returned from their Mission Trip to Walpole Island, Ontario. We spent the week building decks and wheelchair ramps, painting inside and out. We met wonderful people from as far as Florida and New Jersey, not to mention the residents of Walpole Island. We would like to thank everyone who supported us by attending the Spaghetti Dinner, Christmas Cookie Sale and all those who bought Mission Trip Stock. We were able to attend Workcamp only through your help. At camp we spoke with many youth who had to pay their own way to camp. Their youth groups and congregations were not able to raise all the money for workcamp. That says a lot about North Eaton Christian Church!! Please, take time to talk to the youth who participated in the workcamp. They are: Nikki Teper, JJ Haumschild, Jen Wilson, Tyler Bokman, Julie Haumschild (and our all around “handywomen Polly Tallos.”) Text Box: Congratulations to Helen Literati on receiving a Certificate of Recognition for her countless hours volunteering with CHP New Life Hospice.
