Text Box: Stewardship of the body…..

Our thanks to those who were physically able to give blood and took the time to donate on July 22nd. We exceeded our goal of 10. I am happy to say we had 14 people donate and one did a “double red” so that actually gave us 15.

The Stewardship Team would like to give Marie Ternes and Fran Early special thanks for the great continental breakfast they prepared and hosted. This was a great help to those who hadn’t eaten before worship and wanted to donate blood. And to those who couldn’t give blood but were ready for a little nourishment.

Text Box: CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP……………….
I would like to thank Marie Ternes on behalf of CWF for a wonderful idea for raising money for CORNERSTONE. It worked! She sold $234 in tickets, plus $70 in tickets from Membership Team for all Dads attending on Father’s Day. Don Nash won the big tool box and donated it back for a silent auction the following Sunday. Our thanks to Bill Cromling for the top bid of $150.00. He donated it back for another silent auction bid won by Edna Carpenter. Our final total for the drawing was $494.00.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO BOUGHT TICKETS AND BID AT THE SILENT AUCTIONS.

All the time and effort put into the fundraisers here at NECC is well worth it. Your support makes it fun and all of us proud to be members of NECC and this generous and warm group of people. Thank you everyone.

REMINDER: We are looking for more raffle ideas and for crafts and crafters for the CWF Annual Christmas Bazaar, November 10th.
