Text Box: Who’s Who – Mark Carpenter

Mark Alan Carpenter is one of the rotating teachers for the Kindergarten through 2nd grade Sunday School class. He has been attending NECC for the past 38 years, which is his entire life.

Mark currently lives in North Ridgeville with his wife, Kathy, and their two children, Maggie and Alex. He has lived in this area all of his life and is employed as an Environmental Engineer with the state of Ohio

In his spare time, Mark likes to play with his kids and watch reality TV. His favorite food is pizza and his favorite season is OHIO STATE FOOTBALL!! (I guess that says it all).

While attending church, the people that have influenced Mark’s life the most are his Mom and Dad, Don Nash, Roger Hales, Steve and Shari Hales, Jeannie Kekic, Paul Durbin, Helen Literatti, Stu Hicks, Dan and Fran Morilak, Tony Mango, Pete and Polly Tallos and his wife, Kathy Carpenter.

Mark has an awesome experience that he would like to share. “Attending CYF Conference at Camp Christian was the greatest spiritual time of my life. Having a hundred kids together to learn and experience it together solidified my faith in Christ.”

“My experience at NECC is that I learn more about my faith and my personal Christian values during the rough times within our church. During the good times, I get caught up in the fun and forget Christ. During the bad times and turmoil, I am reminded to say, WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?.”

Text Box: To All at NECC,
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their care and concern during Mom’s illness and her death. We appreciate everything that was done.

A great big thank you to all who set up, served and prepared the food for the lunch after her memorial service.
