Text Box: JYF Mission Project

The Jr. Youth Fellowship – 3rd, 4th and 5th graders has been meeting on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month since October 2006. For the last four meetings the JYF have spent the first 15 to 30 minutes creating Get Well and Thinking of you cards. Beth Wilson takes the cards and sends them to a friend of hers serving as a nurse in Iraq. She then distributes the cards to injured soldiers.

JYF will be taking a break over the summer. We would like to keep sending cards.

If you would like to help send cards to the soldiers in Iraq please see Polly Tallos.
Text Box: Fingernail Polish

Do you have bottles of old fingernail polish lying around? Color looked good at the store but wasn’t what you wanted once you got home? Would you like to get rid of it? Polly Tallos will take them off you hands-excuse the pun. The fingernail polish will be used during structured free time at Chi Rho Camp this summer.
Text Box: Columbia Homecoming Hospitality Booth

North Eaton Christian Church will once again have a Hospitality Booth at the Columbia Homecoming held at the Columbia Park, Friday, June 30 through Sunday, July 1.

We provide a place in the shade for children to do a simple craft, a Baby Changing area, free water, and information about NECC. It is a chance for us to show God’s love to people in our neighborhood.

Volunteers are needed to be in the booth for 2 to 3 hour shifts. Signup with a family member or friend and enjoy the time together. You will help the kids get started on their craft or coloring pages, direct parents with young children to our Baby Changing Table, share our love for Jesus and invite the community to get to know us better.

If you would like to volunteer see Polly Tallos or sign up in the Fellowship Hall.
Text Box: Children’s Choir—Performing June 10
Choir Members and Parents: It is getting to be the end of the school year and that means it will be time for our final performance before we take a summer vacation. These fine young voices in our choir have been working very hard. To showcase this talent, we will be performing on JUNE 10th at the 9:30 worship service.

We need all the young voices for our final performance and invite you to bring the whole family to hear them sing.
Text Box: **NECC MOM’S GROUP**

Not only can we build a great support network but also our kids can play together, learn social skills and create lasting friendships.
