Text Box: Wellness Class Update:

For the last few weeks we have been meeting at 11A.M. in a classroom to the west side of the Fellowship Hall. We have structured our studies based on a book by Joyce Meyer titled “Be Your Best”. At this time the plan is to finish discussing the ideas presented to us in this book. This will take several more weeks and I would encourage everyone to check us out. Extra books are available and it is very easy to pick up at any point and get started. We hope to continue with a new book when this one is finished. Look for updates! We are also open to any ideas anyone may have concerning activities such as walking or biking that we can do as a group. If you have any suggestions or areas of interest you want to explore, either in the classroom or outside of the classroom, please come to the class or see me. Text Box: Dear God,
In two weeks I will be leaving for my week long class at Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky. This will be my 15th year of classes and a time I look forward to participating with people from all over the country. I will be taking a class on I Corinthians.
Every year the Seminary sends material for us to read before we attend. This year there are two LARGE books . I should be prepared. But every year I am overwhelmed at the preparation to be done before I even leave. I have been trying to read every day, but sometimes it is a real challenge. There is a Voice article to write, my report for Council and all the other things that make up my day. By the end of the day I am tired and reading is the last thing I want to do.
I will start again. The books are waiting and it is only 8:00 p.m. so I should be able to accomplish something.
Oops, the phone is ringing. I will get back to reading later.

Ecclesiastes 12: 11-12 "The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails, given by one Shepherd. Be warned, my child, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body."
					Love, Judy
