Text Box: All Church Swim The Membership Committee would like to invite the church family to meet at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center in Strongsville on Wednesday, December 27 between 5 and 9 PM for an evening of swimming. The cost is just $5 to use the swimming area. There is a Pirate Ship with four small water slides and a water tunnel for small children, a large slide for older children and adults, a hot tub, water basketball hoops, lap lanes and high dive boards. Something for everyone. Come for the whole four hours or just come for an hour or two. BRING your grandchildren too. The Recreation Center is located behind the Strongsville Target store. Your support is greatly appreciated! *********************************************************** Trip to Bethany….. Eleven adventurous people set out on Saturday, November 18 to explore Historic Bethany, WV. We stopped for lunch at Pizza Hut in Wellsburg, WV before meeting our guide at the Visitor’s Center in Bethany. We looked around the old Cemetery before going in to the Campbell Mansion. We heard how Alexander Campbell had added onto the house, started a school in his home and about some of the great thinkers and politicians of the time who had visited the Campbells. We enjoyed each others company and learning about our Disciples Heritage. We also enjoyed listening to the Ohio State/Michigan game on the way home. Several people have asked if we would make the trip again. There are plans to schedule a trip in the Spring. ************************************************************************ Chi Rho Candy Sale The Chi Rho would like to thank every one who supported their Candy Sale at the Bazaar. She has lived in North Eaton for years and is a long time member of Rebekah Circle. …….Barb Koerner joined our church family on Dec. 3rd. She is the mother of Liz Bokar. Barb lives in Elyria and worships at our 9:30 service. If you have not met them, please introduce yourself before or after worship, or during our fellowship hour.
