Outreach


North Eaton Christian Church reaches out to its members, its community and the world in a variety of ways:

  • Sponsoring an annual mission trip
  • Providing a monthly meal at Cleveland's Dunham Avenue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
  • Providing post-funeral meal gatherings for church families
  • Making and distributing prayer shawls to those who are hospitalized, in care centers, or celebrating the birth of a child
  • Taking blood pressure readings at our second-Sunday-of-the-month Fellowship times following Worship
  • Undertaking repair projects each month at homes of our elderly or disabled members, through NECC's men's group, Christian Men in Action
  • Collecting aluminum cans to help purchase medical supplies for a special-needs child
  • Holding blood drives and organ/tissue donor awareness events
  • Collecting items for our nation's military personnel serving overseas
  • Being a covenant church in support of Pathways Counseling and Growth Center
  • Supporting special collections of donations and financial gifts benefit area social service agencies--
  • Special offerings throughout the year benefit wider church ministries and global concerns--
